Description and Basic Information ::
|
| This is one of the island’s best-known attractions. Located in Ocho Rios, Dunn’s River Falls is a dramatic 600-foot drop of cascading water that is considered the Niagara of the Caribbean. Visitors carefully climb up limestone tiers and then reward their efforts with a swim at the beach below. Anyone who is not sure of foot should remain below and just enjoy the view. Guides will take you up the falls for a nominal fee. Inside tip: Try to avoid this location when cruise ships are in port as it will be very crowded |
